Kawa 636 or CBR600RR

Just out of curiousity, which bike do you guys think will work better for general sportbike riding along with wheelies and stoppies. First off, i'm not planning on anything spectactular just your everyday wheelies (sit-downs, stand-ups, high-chair, and tank stuff). Just wondering which bike you guys think will work better for this. It will be used about 50/50 as far as twisty riding and stunting. Currently i ride a zx7r and am sick of fighting with it to do the stunts i like to do. The only mods i plan on doin are 1 tooth down up front and an exhaust. Thanks for the comments in advance.

I've rode both and they're both pretty pimp. Send RYAN_PBZ a pm. He just recently got a new CBR-RR and has it geared and an Akropovic slip on. He likes it alot. Just go with whichever floats your boat the most.

anymore, the 6 hundy bikes seem to be pretty close in comparison. I would also like to know if anybody likes any 6 hundy's better than the 636 or the cbr-rr. Thanks

Keep in mind the Honda 6 has a plastic tank so who know how well it will hold up to constant tank abuse..

Mike,

Was up man, I just wanted to say I own the 636 Ninja and it is a very pimp bike. Even know im not much of a stunter I have seen my buddy stunt the **** out of it. I would say go with it, cause all I see is Honda or Gixxer. Why not be different from them.
Or you could wait a few months and get the new Zx-10R Ninja.

Later,
Tronix

so far i'm leaning towards the 636. The main reason is because i really enjoy doing slow to moderately fast tank stuff and the plastic tank is a problem. Anybody have any other suggestions on either the gixxer 6 or the r6?

gixxer 600 or the honda..my friend has the new 636 and he just turned 8000 mi and the thing is tickin like a bastard. he did regular oil changes and everything your supposed to (he's a certified MMI grad) and he doesn't stunt the thing he just hangs out w/ us and video's or goes out cruising. i couldn't believe it..i was like dude i beat the F*ck out of my gixxer and it runs mint (no tranny problems eitherfor all you guys that are gonna say that) if not the gixxer then buy the honda

Go with the GSXR. If not it's kind of a wash, the RR has a plastic tank, but it's a honda. The 6r has 36cc extra, a metal tank, inverted forks, and radially mounted brakes, but people are saying it might have reliability problems. Hell, I'd go with a Z1000, the MSRP is only like $500 more than the 636, it's a sweet looking streetfighter, and it's a bored out zx9r engine, so parts will be cheap, service guys will know what the **** they're doing and it should be pretty reliable. It has something like 130+ hp and it's pretty unique. It seems like a really sweet ride.
