Need help with balance point on 02 f4i??

Here is the problem, I have been trying to learn the balance point on my 2002 F4i with stock gearing. When standing up popping the clutch, I can ride it out until it redlines, (also in first). WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

your definatly not getting it up high enough, just give it a lil more gas to get hit higher, but be quick to let off a little bit when it doesn come higher, you'll see the difference, and cover that brake

yah, I've now found the point where it feels like the bike is balanced vertically, and not falling forward/backwards... and am praticing being able to KEEP it at that point..

but I'm wondering how much further I have going BACKWARDS.. and how much further BACK it can go and still be able to save it with throttle.. and how much further back can it go with saving it with the BRAKE..

yes, I know pratice pratice.. the more comfortable you are with the bike up there, the better you get.. but I'm a ***** and dont wanna loop it

You need to get higher faster, ive found that when i have a friend video tape me it helps because you see how high you really are and how much further you have to go or whatyou have to do to get it right. Practice is all its going to take and always remember and use the rear brake

k check it all i got on there is a 520 chain and a yosh slip on. now for the wheelie. there are many was to be gettin a f4i up. on the back streets i pull it up in 1st and shift 2nd. remember your only gettin the bike up to height then shifting. don't ride the gear thats how you go over when shifting. if i'm pullin a trick (tank wheelie passenger peg blah blah blah) i clutch it in 2nd about at 5grand. for all freeway wheelis i bounce 2nd gear. you can bounce 2nd at like 4-5-6grand at times i shift to 3rd. if you ever want to get it up in 3rd all you got to do is a bounce clutch. other that that all you got to do is bring the bike all the way back as you can see i'm passed the balence point. i take it so far back that some times i'm lookin at my gas tank doing a standing wheelie. andd no i never did set my idle or do any rear braking in my wheelies.

youll know when you hit that balance point.. the bike will feel wheightless i also ride an f4i and i can hold 2nd gear at about 40 mph for miles. just use the clutch it will get you to the bp faster and youll keep the rpms down.
