Honda CRF250r

Im new to motocross and I recently got a honda crf250r and I was just wondering if it's good for stunting and what are the best upgrades to make it good for stunting? Also I've heard that it needs a lot of maintenance and was wondering what parts need maintaining most and how often they would need to be maintained?

Re: Honda CRF250r

I love it!!!! And I'm sure it's a beast with these changes to the 22 model. The only thing is, I prefer the dual exhaust; I don't know, I just like it more. It gives it a unique touch. In fact, I got the 300RX 21 because I wanted it with dual exhausts. It's something I really like about CRFs, and they don't have any competition. Otherwise, it's a seriously impressive machine!

Re: Honda CRF250r

Your CRF250R is a race machine, not ideal for typical stunting. It's light and powerful, but built for track performance. If you push it for stunts, you'd need crash protection like cages or sliders, a larger rear sprocket, and maybe a hydraulic handbrake.

Also, switching to a larger rear sprocket can help with torque and control, making stunts a bit easier. A hydraulic handbrake could be a valuable addition too, giving you better control during tricks. Just keep in mind that modifying a race bike for stunts can impact its overall performance, so weigh your options carefully!
