Hey there, I am sure there are posts about this already but im having trouble finding them.

I am looking for advice on upgrading my stock forks to inverted. What year R1 front ends fit? Also is the R1 front end better than a newer R6 inverted front end?

I am looking for the best all around forks but I do a lot of stoppies and im rolling them about 4-500 ft on my stock front end and feel like it gets sketchy trying to go for any longer than that. I would like to step up my game with a better front end setup if it will help.

Anyone have any experience with the swap and if it did anything to help with stoppies? Is the conversion to inverted forks really that essential or mostly for looks?
