I am changing my sprokets on my 01 Kat. I was thinkin of going with -2 /+4 I would like any input or if any of you have done this combo let me know how it worked. Like to know soon gonna order them this week. Also I have the Yoshi exhaust I was wondering if any one has the headers to go with the muffler I want to know if it is worth the money for the headers It would look nice all chrome
but wanna know about performance let me know
I had a old and heavy 92 katana 600. -2 up front. Made it easy to wheelie that big ol thing! But since im not good at wheelies, I could not apply it. Dont know about the new Katanas but on the old ones, goin down more than 1 in the front killed chains FAST!
Hope it helps,

anyway I hope some one gives me an answer soon. Went to the shop today they said dont go down more than 1 in the front and not to go up more than 2 in the rear. Told me 14 one the front will kill the chain and so would goin -2 said a 13 would reallly screw me
anyway would like to hear from some on who maybe actuall has this done on a newer bike not the old ones. thanks

just start with one down in front. You be suprised in the difference, at least I was. If its not enogh then just get some more teeth on the rear.
1 down in front is equivelant to 3 up in rear.
