f4i COLD compression?
I did a compression test on this motor I got, that had the intake timing jump 3 or so teeth..
I got 118, 124, 126, 94..
Also on a valve check, everything was 100% at spec, or withing .002 at worst, except my 4th cylinder which was out .004 / .006 on the intake
So I'm sure the valves are bent on that cylinder
just curious if anyone knows if my compression numbers sound about right for a 19k motor that's cold? They are all pretty close to the same, so I'm assuming they aren't bad, unless they all just have their valves bent the same 'slight' amount, which I wouldn't be surprised..
Also when testing my compression, I cranked on it for like 10 seconds.. The compression slowly came up... But I also have a snap on tester that has like a 18" or so hose, so maybe thats how it works? I know my walmart tester I used on my car is only like 10" long and built to its max number faster
