I get the oil light on when doing stoppies(silly little 10 meter ones). I have stuntex oil pickup and i have put more oil in it. I overfilled it with 1 liter and its still on. When bike is slightly leaning left i can see the oil level but when bike is straight, its overfilled. Dont wanna put too much oil, am afraid it gonna start pressing thru the seals. I use castrol racing 10w-50 fully synthetic oil.
It seems that i could put the old pickup back in and overfill it the same amount without having any wheelie problems? Its 03 GSXR 600.

Remove stuntex ASAP.you are better off without it

Anyone else wants to give some advice before i start taking it all apart again or we all agree on the part that stuntex oil pickup aint so good?

 

Well i got rid of stuntex and put the old one back. I cut a little part off it at the end, so it would get some more oil in wheelies. I cut below the sieve. That should do it?

 

For all the other people in future that have the same problem-stuntex sucks ***. My half cutted stock pickup worx good.

 

Good to hear. I still have my original 750 motor going on 10 years. A a stuntex wasted a motor in another Gxr of mine in 2weeks
