Does a 06 gsxr tail fit on a 04 gsxr??

I was wonder if i could do the swap? is it difficult? the only reason im doing this is cause the tail i have is chopped off and i can only find an 06 tail around here...thanks for the help guys!!

what about a track sub-frame and a welder??
I play with fighters and its not what fits, its what you want you make fit............
