fi light on 05 636 loss of power

so i was just rolling down the street, and i heard a weird noise. like my bike went from sounding like it was suppose to sound like to a more deeper tone, something like an endo bike or something. i also noticed a sudden loss in overall power. i looked up and seen the fi light was on. I did a search but all i got was to fix the light from being on, not the actual problem. any help would be GREATLY appriciated. thanks in advance

Re: fi light on 05 636 loss of power

there is a little wire you ground to any part on the bike the FI light will flash solid ofr 10 and short for the following number like (s b b b ) is 13 .. the wire is located buy the fuel pump connection under the seat and should have a plastic clear cover where it looks like something plugs in there. Take a wire ground it to anyhting metal start the bike and watch the FI light. and then post the code

I had a cbr 600 do this. Goes from like high pitch street bike sound to 4 stroke dirtbike and power comes and goes. It turned out my power commander went out so I unplugged it and took it off and it was fine.

dont do that .. find someone u kno whos good with that shyt and run it thru
if u bring it to a dealer u might as well get rid of the bike .. its gonna cost u more to have them go thru it then a new stunt bike would cost, and they dont know what there doing half the time anyways .. especially if its all hacked up there gonna rape u in the ***

See the orange wire above the black connector that is above the exhaust servo that is the wire you ground for the FI light ..ground it count the flashes with the bike running. Solid =10 short =1
