LAST HOPE..cbr problem

Ok now I see why a lot of people dont really stunt 600 RR CBR's..first of all its gonna take a lot to dent my tank in with the top being plastic and all..that I can live with, found a few good threads on here that was able to help..But now Im finding out that the 08 600 rr's have something called an Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) which does not require (or allow) idle adjustments. So no slow wheelies for me huh?? I was told to check this site as a last resort..I here that I would have to get pretty macguyver to bypass this..any suggestions at all..thanks guys...

Keep the 08rr for the streets/track days and look into a more suitable stunt ride that won't cost as much to fix. Maybe 2003-2006rr better years for that style of riding. I like the 2003-2004rr the best though front end a little stronger then the 2005-2006rr.

Re: LAST HOPE..cbr problem

na man u just have to get a 900rr idel cable or something like that even the f4i one but i think the 900rr is the longest but you can screw the new cable into the throttle bodies where a set screw was and that will let you raise it there are a ton of threads that are more helpfull just search for it.... i also would get rid of the tip over sensor....other than that i love my 07....one other thing i would do is put an f4i throttle tube on it and a good sprocket change.....i run -1 +4 and still lot it almost all the time....good luck man
