Im paralyzed and want to get back on again. HELP!!
Im from upstate NY, and want more than anything to ride again. Ive seen kits that people have made that are in effect, actuated training wheels, on videos on youtube.
Can anyone help me with either someone that has made their own kit, or maybe a shop in upstate ny that you think might be able to do it.
I was riding my gsxr 600 on the highway and some *******, without looking, merged into the middle lane and took me out. Then I slid at like 70mph into the guardrail headfirst.Knocked almost flat to the ground too.
Any help would be more than greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

Thank you brother. Its comments like that, that truly push me to make this happen.
Check out these videos:

(bad audio)
But something like this CANNOT be too hard to make.
I didnt mention to you guys either that when I was 22, I rode my Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic alone from Idaho, 3 hours north up to Montana to hook up with I-90 East, then rode home to Albany, NY in 3 days, 49 hours total. I wouldnt ride at night is all. 2,550 miles total.
My parents were trophy Trials riders back in the late 70's, early 80's too, so I really do have racing fuel running through my veins. Anybody remember trials back in the day? Thats how I learned to ride, ride down a 2x4x10 board without falling off, then turn it on end and do it again.

Re: Im paralyzed and want to get back on again. HELP!!
Got in touch with Orange County Choppers today, we'll see what they have to say. The guy I talked to in charge of sales, when I had mentioned a possible donation of any kind, said that he would pass along my email and request to Paul Sr.
So I was even thinking if anybody on here might want to shoot them an email (mike@orangecountychoppers.com), and express some support for just making this happen, or that youd also like to see them do it up, it could only help Im thinking.
Thanks alot guys.

You might also try smaller motorcycle customization shops, as well as local machine shops
motorcycle shops would have a better sense of what would work on a motorcycle and what wouldn't, but machine shops would be able to make it happen for a decent price, but might not be that great at inventing a design that works well...

You sir are bad ***.. I hope everything works out for you. True definition od not letting ANYTHING hold you back bro. That takes alot for a person to do! Especially to adapt and overcome a problem that some people say you cant do. Well you can do it..No one can take that will and want from you to do what it is you want to do...and that is ride!
