i have a 750 that needs a new frame but i was told that a 600 may fit is this true also will a 1000 if not what mods do i need 3 make them fit thanks for the help

 

Yeah it should work. Jus take notes and look at where the engine mounts to the frame, JUST to be sure. Also I'm not sure how the steering stem bearings from a 750 will fit in a 600 frame. So you may wanna look into that also. I know the 600 triples where the fork tubes mount up are a different size(smaller), since they still used the conventional fork.

 

Oh yeah, a 1000 IS different. Best bet is go with the 600 frame. You'll need to do quite a bit of modding to get the 750 motor to mount into a 1000 frame. GUARANTEED! Good Luck.

 

the 03 750 n 03 600 frame is the same, the 1000 has a different location for one of the motormounts , i have heard if people not using the mount but that is here say. i have done a number of 600 /750 frame swaps nothing is different

i had a 2002 gsxr 750 and the frame was bent so i tried to put the 750 motor in a 2001 600 frame, i had to drill the motor mounts, cuz they where a 1/2 inch off...It still worked out great tho
