My 02 f4i sprung a leak!! I changed the gasket,and it still drips drip and drips!! I checked to se if tank was damaged or bent out of wack. Which was not dented or cracked. I need to ride. Any suggestion before I buy a new tank! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

 

Put some silicone on that bee-yotch, on both sides of the gasket! Please use silicone that can be used with gas, please!

check the lines, mine had a small crack in it

 

MAke sure you are tigthening the bolts in a criss cross pattern like lug nuts. And don't run them down all the way like half a turn at a time, that was you know it has a consistent seal. I'd guess that will work. I've seen that problem far more than once, hope it helps
