F4i wont start

I haven't had this bike long at all, maybe a month total. It always started fine. I decided to shortin the Yoshi tube, and when I put it back on, the bike started, ran rough then cut out. I'm not sure if shortining the pipe has anything to do with it or not.
If I turn it over, sometimes it sounds like it wants to fire, but no go.
The red light to the left of my nuetral light is on, any ideas what that means?
The oil light flashes but I think it always did that until it started.
Any help is appreciated, I'm goin crazy on this.

Re: F4i wont start

is it getting spark to good plugs? if not maybe in same boat I am in, but think could be pulse generator, i guess its common for these to go out? either way tested mine and tested my brothers f4i and his was def producing more voltage when cranking on it then mine is doing. I dont know what kinda voltage the pulse generator should be putting out but know my brothers bike starts everytime.
