I need some help with this one as well! Don't you run two cables? Your stock cable (that only richens and leans out the mixture) and a second in place of the center set screw to open up the throttle bodies thus increasing idle. Without the second cable the idle will not go past 2500.

yes run two cables. go to a honda dealership and order the idle screw cable from a 900rr or an f3 (i believe the 900rr cable is longer) remove the stopper screw in the center of the four throttle bodies and screw this one in its place, dont forget the spring that keeps the cable from vibrating out. should cost about 15 bucks.
