removing 600rr flywheel?

Was it here I read that you can use the AXLE of a 600rr to remove its flywheel? The axle threads into the flywheel?

I THOUGHT I read that somewhere, and I have a 600rr in my garage with a bent flywheel I need to remove.. Been in my garage since last monday and I've tried like 3 pullers and nothing I have fits

Just asking before I gotta pull the rear wheel off AGAIN.. Just tried the front axle bolt and it was too small... (only reason I don't wanna pull the rear wheel off again is I got two bikes in my garage I'm reassembling from the ground up )

Re: removing 600rr flywheel?

well ****, so the front and rear axle doesn't fit, neither does my f4i axle or 150 axle lol

We attempted using a pulley puller on it, and we had a impact at 100psi and it wouldn't pop off! Fucked the tip of the puller up and the flywheel didn't budge

I think our only option is to thread a bolt in there

Anyone know what size and thread pitch the flywheel is on a 600rr?? And is a bolt what people use to remove it?

we tried that with our dealer no go

We ended up loading the crap motor into my friends truck and going to stores that sell bolts nothing

went to honda, I had to tell them the thread size I guessed and they gave me one to try and it worked, $12, not bad

oh ya its a 20mm 1.5 thread pitch, honda should have them for $12ish but they AREN'T labeled on the package as for 600rr's lol
