Acerbis Cyclops wiring help made easy
K, trying to hook up this light and although I can get lights working they don't work like I would expect but then again since I know nothing about wiring I'm pretty much guessing and with six wires that could hook up to any of 12 on the headlight wiring harness the combinations are more than my old mind can comprehend.
YES, I searched and none of the threads was really much help and pics link were broken. I'm doing this on a 03 F4i and want them to work somewhat like stock, high and low beams work independantly. Everything I try and both lights are on, also the high beam switch makes no difference. The extra wires on the side of the light or for blinkers I mounted so if you know how to hook those up to that same harness that would be
Tried to make it as easy as possible to help me by adding a pic that shows the light/blinker wiring as well as the 12 wires on the headlight harness. Kinda like connect the dots. Just download that pictures and hook up those suckers!
No words needed!
Also looks like the rear blinkers won't work unless I do something (like hook up front blinkers). Yes/no? Not ready to take it off the streets just yet and still waiting on a longer chain for the 60.
Just this left and bleeding my brakes and my bike is ready to........... crash!

Re: Acerbis Cyclops wiring help made easy
this one gives you a diagram, may tell you what colors the stock high/low beam wires are then just wire the stock high beam into the acerbis light you want on for high. And same for low.

Re: Acerbis Cyclops wiring help made easy
but still got working on my bike at 7am. messed with that headlight for an hour and best I could do was full time high beam or no high beam. Could not get it to work with the high beam switch. Didn't even get to the blinkers cuz I just wanted to take it for a quick ride in our very rare nov 65 degree day
Liking the feel of the new dbars too! brought a few up high and it felt super comfy! Also wondering if the blinkers need the relay to work? Are the relays on the upper anybody?
Bled my brakes this morning too, front brake great, fb great, hb NOTHING!
at work now so will try bleeding them again later. let me know if u did any better with the light man Thread
