05 r6 bogging
05 r6 bogging
was at the spot ridn the other day and my buddy dropped his bike and it was running while on its side...now itll start but wont run for ****...will idle but boggs and cuts out when you give it gas...anybody got any suggestions on where to start???

it sounds like your tps....throttle positioning sensor. My rr did this when i had it and i played with the sensor and got it to work again but it was doing the same thing

Coils burn out
The bike needs CR9 spark plugs
And do the clean air mod

i was looking for a diagram of your bike to tell you where your tps is at and i found this

Ryan711's bike use to be mine. HAd the same thing wrong with it after a hard wreck. It would bog when on the gas but run all day as long as you were easy on the gas.
Ended up being the fuel pump. No big deal to pop everything back in place but you have to take it out of the tank to do it. You will see where the problem is once you get it out. One of the tubes doesn't seal and it won't build enough pressure. Pop it all back in place and it will run like a champ.
