Smile F4i rear shock

Hi,

The rear shock on my F4i could do with being allot stiffer, have any of you guys used a different shock ? ohlins a bit expensive at 1000pounds. or have you had you standard shock refurbished ?

i don't know but i have an 06 gsxr shock that i think might fit my f4i so i'm going to try that. it is alot more adjustable and should be a bit stiffer due to the angle it sits at in the gsxrs

did you adjust the tension with a spanner wrench? mine on the highest is super ******* stiff, I run it on like 4 I think

double Z, yeah would be interested in knowing if you gsxr shock fits

Tanus, the bikes 2001CBR so I think the shock knackered and I have bought a couple on ebay and seem to be as soft even on the hardest setting. How easy is it to change spring and oil yourself ?
