cap relocation....

ive seen a couple pics of the relocation done...i wanna try it, dont know what to use for the new cap, i want a clean look...anybody got any sugestions.....thanks...beardo

use any cap you want


I think when people relocate their gas cap, they cut the original filling hole section out, and move the entire section

i dont want to ues the original b/c of the size...im looking for somthing smaller that would look clean when done...just wondering if anyone has sugestions on what to use...thanks beardo

I have put a couple of these on Matt Hotch Designs gas caps on chopper gas tanks for customers and they are sick. Would work great for relocating your cap.

i couldent find the price on the website and allso since its vented will it leak on my tank when the bike is on its side

if it does it wont be much...also im pretty sure it has to be vented

The actual Matt Hotch cap is around $200 but you can get copies of it on ebay for $60. I haven't used the copy but it shoud work the same. The actual matt hotch cap won't leak and my friend has the copy on his bobber and says it is just as nice as the real thing.
