like the title says i got a 2001 gsxr 750 and it wont keep the charge. i bought a brand new battery did everything the right way( acid, charge, etc...) installed it the next day and the bike started right up, rode for about an hour turned it off and it wouldnt start. it cranked 2-3 times and nothing at all battery completly dead. got a jumper box and it starts right up. well anyway to make a long story short i've came to notice that if the bike sits for about an hour it will start on its own WTF??!! i checked the volts bike off =12 volts bike runnin is 14.3 somebody please help me out i dont understand it

i believe u have the faulty n overheating voltage regulator.. try to run the bike for ten mins then check the battery volts, if it gradualy go down its cuz the bike is running off the battery and the volt reg. is bad... let me know what happens...
