i just put a new 04 636 tank on my 03. now it sound like its only running on 3 cylinders? i used the same fuel pump do you think it could be something with the clean air mod its only got one over flow nipple in the back of tank not three?

 

make sure you didn't unplug any vaccuum lines on accident

 

i dont see why an 04 tank wouldnt work on an 03 636 i doubt those three niples in back would have anything to do with it? i bet i fouled a plug. i gotta get a different extension the dam socket wont fit in there to check the outer plugs what else could it be? the tank was clean inside i already checked the fuel pump didnt see anything wrong

 

if you think its running on 3 cyclinders i bet it is. take the tank back off and unplug 1 of the injectors or sparkplug (coil on plug) and see if it makes a differance. If it does then plug the injector or coil back in and move to the next injector/coil and do the same thing till it doesnt make a differance. Whent it doesnt make a differance than thats ur bad cyclinder.

i know ur thinking why would a injector or sparkplug (coil on plug) go bad......well it might have just went bad when u put ur new gas tank on....

i checked all the plugs one of them was soaked and nasty lookin so i just took some sand paper to it now it works fine... ill have to use your method next time so i dont have pull each plug out
