kleen air mod...DOWNSIDES?
i've had this on my bike for awhile now.
today i was talking to this dude that races f4is and he said it's a HORRIBLE idea...as the engine needs to be able to breath...and it will **** up my motor in the long run (i'll never know caz it already blew
)
he said you can cap the front two...but you're supposed to leave the rear breather hose connected to the front of the air box.
comments?

the kleen air mod Ts (three way fitter) all the 3 hoses together.
bad example but....kind like you sticking an air-tight pipe/hose from your nasal passages to your mouth. you can't breath. you'll just be breathing in your own breath...(so to speak)
the way he was telling me they do it in the race world is cap the front two and route the rear one to the front of the airbox. also cap the rear of the airbox

the top two are on your exhaust ports so it breaths fine....hence why if it does push oil thru it just burns it off and your bike smokes but no damage is done.....

tell the guy that races f4i's that he is clueless...lol
there are two reed valves that create suction via the exhaust so there is actually a vacuum created that vents the crankcase
