06 636 hydalocking????

I just got a 06 636 and its my first kawasaki. After doing a wheelie and letting my bike sit, when i go to start it again its hydralocked. Or thats whats the bike shop told me it was. It just clicks and u can hear there gear just click like its stuck. I turn it off and give it a minutes and try again which takes about 10 minutes before it finally turns over. But then smokes like a hooker for 10 miles then its fine. No lights come on. Not close to overheating. Oils great. No loss in power. This has happens to me twice now only after wheelieing it. Can anybody help me out on this. I have had nothing but hondas and i am starting to wonder if go kawi was a bad move.
