600rr ?
my friend has a 03 600rr and the trans is fucked up, someone told him the trans is seperate from the engine. i think this is false but i dont have experience with these bikes is this true ? and secondly what year 600rr engines are compatable with the 03 600rr. thanks

the tranny is inter-connected somewhat, it really depends on what you mean by seperate (certain parts ARE in the crank case for example). the gen. is 03-05 so any of those engines SHOULD swap out w/o any problems.
