Need Help With My 01 f4i the way its running

Alright, my bike was running perfect untill i srtipped it down when i was doing some repairs like rebracing the subframe, denting the tank, and putting on the idle cable on. Now it sounds like there is a miss but it aint a full miss and its like intermediate and back fires when the bike revs down but i put brand new iridium ngk plugs in thinking that was it and thinking the back firing would stop after a day or two but it still does it.. my throttle feels choppy and all this **** is annoying me when im at a lot so any help or ideas would be GREAT!! im at a loss of ideas... Thanks Alot

gotta be something yor forgeting to tell us. Bikes just dont go from perfect to crappy all of the sudden in my experiences. Backfiring is a timing issue though, maybe check your coils too...

im gonna try to explain what i think it is the best i can cuz i have no idea what it does but....when u look at your throttle bodies with the tank off, in the center where they split, when u hook up the idle cable in one of those screws, u have a left one and a right one i used the right one but now in between that there is a lil screw with a 8mm nut on it wit a lil slit for a screw diver in it....now one wtf is that and two is there a certain setting for that cuz i took that off cuz i thought thats where i put my idle cable but i put it back in and didnt know if there is supposed to be a certain setting but thats the only thing that could be making it do this....

Make sure everything is properly hooked up..

Make sure your air flow sensor on top of the air box is hooked up, also make sure the vacuum line is connected so that little sensor (forgot its name..)

When you put a idle cable on, you left your STOCK idle cable on also right?

Gotta leave the stock idle on at the stock idle setting
