Haha nah man it was just a joke and I was talking bout beating the cage first then put it on. I know I'm gonna beat the hell out of everything I've spread done that part

cages are meant to take the beating instead of the bikes frame and motor, so this problem can be expected! yes it sucks but really all depends on the rider and the crash. i've seen all kinds of different brands of cages hold up and withstand crazy things and on the other hand i've seen all these same cages break, bend and fail at the weakest dismount gone bad
but in the end, as long as the cage saved the bike it did its job

true true.....im not gonna lie i hated on FI at first cause my mounts kept bending and stamped my frame and would tweak the whole bike but i took that cage on and off prolly 5 times had to use a rachet strap a couple times but i made it work....then i got a 636 and got SI and after takin it off once and not gettin back on i figured out the advantages of having a multi piece cage so im back to FI and love it...but im also not going down very much at all anymore and if i do im going slow as **** and i usually catch it before it even hits

Maybe I don't..

but I did do this with a sick innovations.. This was WHILE the rear bar was broke.. One side was not bolted on, the left side only had the main motor mount bolt, the rear all thread was gone when this happened..

No broke stator cover! Just took out my msr ez pull

btw that is the crash that bent my cage about 8 inches out of alignment on the cross bar... about 10 minues with a cheater bar I had it back perfectly straight, and ended up selling that cage to my friend for $200 lol, he still uses it

ya

that was LITERALLY the FIRST wheelie of the day..

And as I left my house, I told my friend "I can't wreck today, my cage isn't bolted on right"

I was leaning too far left, had to come off the brake to lean more to avoid the pole, and then looped so I just jumped lol
stupid mistake
