i know there's million of threads talking on tank denting ecc
this bike is not used too much by people in this forum and the tank is particular
so i just dented it but it's not confortable so give me some advices on how i can make it
more confortable for my ***
the original tank has a shitty profile,look at the first pic



after i dented ,it was impossible to me to dent where is the red line in the first pic
and now i have two crest under my ***

all i can think of is eather put a different tank like a 600 ninja usualy they can be swapped out it just wont flow with the plastics i did it to my FZR i put a yzf tank on the fzr frame. or just beat it in more and then fill it in with fiberglass thats my

it's a good idea to put a tank of another model but this kawi has a particular frame and engine different from the other kawi models so i think it's not possible
maybe i'm going to try with fiberglass as you say .....a question,does fiberglass stick on alluminium?

 

Yea fiberglass will hold you just need to put a rough finish on the metal aka use something like a 40 grit sand paper
