03-954 running on 2 cylinders
anyone have this problem before , the 2 middle cylinders are firing but the 2 outside ones arent .. just some good starting points , bike has 8000 miles on it

if not sorted i would do a continuity test (using a multimeter) to check the ignition coils...then take it from there. sorry for squidlin

it could be anything...it sounds silly but i would start by checkin the spark plugs and the ht leads are connected properly and every lead goin 2 its cylinder.

i was starting with that . .. it smells like gas , (when its running ) so im assuming electrical

Sounds like a def elec prob chk your coils it may be as simple as spark plugs. i have a 954 and when i did mine i had that prob and it was a bad connection on the coil between the wire and the clip it got some **** in the connector and wasnt clipping all the way on. and try to track the wires from those inside coils they might have gotten hot and the insulation may have melted causing the wire to ground out on each other.. post up the prob when you get it fixed im curous to know
