break fluid?? dot 3? dot 4?
what up fellow stunters... im new to this. im in my falling stages. haha
anyway last week my bike slid and caught cage..then flipped.. snapped that plastic part where my break fluid res hose connects to....fixed it. jb weld is the ****... but all i had was dot 3 break fluid to fill her back up
now i cant indo......
what my bike does now is slow to a stop when i attempt to indo.. and there isnt air in the lines, at least i dont think so...i've already bled em enough.
anyway... ? does the break oil make a difference or should i get a new break?

Re: break fluid?? dot 3? dot 4?
+1.....that silicone **** will deteriorate ur lines and you will have a bad failure when you are showing off for some hot chick.....go dot 4 or check ur manual specs for the year of your bike dude. motul is good...i use it in my 600 but everyone swears by their own type.

Re: break fluid?? dot 3? dot 4?
but to answer your question RBF600.
Re: break fluid?? dot 3? dot 4?
seriously use rbf600 or bremboo fluid.
dont cheap out when it come to brake fluids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: break fluid?? dot 3? dot 4?
There is a Motul non-silicone DOT 5.1 BRAKE FLUID it is 100% synthetic, polyglycol-based and does not contain silicone. Should I use the Motul 5.1 or just go with any DOT-4 fluid like Honda or Belray? I cant find any Motul RBF600 thats been recommended by everyone around by me and dont have time to wait for it to be shipped, but I can get my hands on the Motul 5.1. It doesnt have silicone in it so should I go with that or just DOT-4? Has anyone used this non-silicone version of the 5.1?
