need f2 help
Well I have a 92 cbr f2. heres the problem
I just bought the bike. The boy said he couldnt figure out what was wrong, he has cleaned he carbs and re jetted it.
I just put a little gas in the carbs and started right up ( Had no tank on it) stayed running for about 45secs with me priming it with just a little gas. I pulled the plugs after that and all was firing when i tested against metal. I put them all back. I emptyed all the told gas out the tank, put a little new in and tried to start it..
It is almost turning over but not quiet there yet. Not sure what else to check since its getting gas, getting spark and cranking over.
What else should I check? I cant figure it out since it stayed running when i primed the carbs but its still getting gas threw the gas tank for sure, So sounds like from where the gas line enters the head til the point when it shoots it in the cylinders there is a problem but I believe its all gravity fed so not sure.
Anyone that can help it would help alot.. thanks

some F2's did have a fuel pump (little round cylinder on the right side of subframe w/ one hose in one hose out)

I built an F2 and F3 and worked on both PLENTY... been through everything on those bikes including going all the way through the motor and I still have a manual sitting right in front of me right now... I'll be glad to help...

update....
before i cleaned the carbs i checks the screw to see if any gas was getting to the floats and there wasnt any.. So i just cleaned the carbs and put all back on and now it still wont start. It will start if u prime the carbs tho. anyone can help ????? Im lost because it will start if u prime it. Its geting gas to the floats when i take the screw out to see and all. so getting gas , all spark plugs are firing......
