is the stock oil 10w? if so, MAYBE. i think the dampening on the 929 with stock oil is really good, just tweak the settings a bit. the rc51 forks i use run 7w stock, i use 10..

.... i seen threads about people with f4i forks and rc51 forks running a tab thicker oil, I mean I can see it on the stock f4i forks due to the pogo effect but wasnt sure why on the 929/954/rc51 forks
