So there is no kleen air mod for the R6?

 

i haven't done an r6 but the concept should be exactly the same as other bikes ...

there will be a big hose [about an inch] going from the crankcase vent to the air box and then there will be another big hose going from the air box to the pair valve[clean air valve] , connect the two some how and disable your pair valve , if it's operated by a vacuum line then simply unplug the vacuum line and cap it off , if it's electric then just unplug it ....

remember to block off the holes left in your airbox..

Haven't rocked the bike back on the bar again to find out how much oil it feeds into the exhaust yet tho

 

I'm thinking my bike hates this mod...not only did it blow the seal out around the clutch shaft, it made a big psssssssh sound after a 2-3 romp

did you disable the pair valve ? doing this mod correctly creates a vacuum in the crank case not pressure

 

Had a kinked hose lol. The mod is super easy...works great

 

how easy was it for you to get lower airbox on? and were u able to get the coolant cover back over it or left it off?

 

Lower airbox is easy to put back on, just use the allen with a ball end on it and toss the heatshield.

Who has done this mod yet? How did it work?

 

I just did that mod about a week ago on my 03. It works great, no more oil in the airbox or combustion chamber when around BP.

The mod is a must...after about 3 seconds at 12, the bike starts to fill the cylinders with oil...hydrolock + blown motor is no joke

 

WTF IS WRONG WITH UR BIKE IVE RODE AT TWELVE FOR 15 MIN NO PROBLEM BEEN THROUGH 3 R6S 03, 04, 05 NEVER HAVE HAD A PROBLEM. MAYBE THOSE FAIRINGS ARE MESSIN WITH IT.

but anyway, the thing about kleen air mods is wierd cuz i had my 06 636 and did all the same tricks as i do with my 05 and never once got oil in my airbox, now with my 05 i have gotten oil in the airbox so i did the mod. bikes are wierd and its just a safe mod to do and doesnt take much time or any money so its worth it for a little protection

 

is that a joke. guess u werent at stunt wars and havnt seen the bmore x dvd. lol 12 o clock aint a problem to me son. see me in the streets of bmore.
