katana 600 wheelie help needed

I think my problem with tryin to learn to wheelie my 600f4 is that its the newest thing I have ever owned and ive not had it long enough to stop babying it to death. But, I have had this 92 katana 600 for about two years and I feel that I am less scared to try to wheelie it. its one tooth down in the front. does anyone here have a kat that they stunt? do they do it well or is it really hard? how high should I go on the rear? I want this thing to be a easy wheelie bike. I may ride it around town but I have my f4 for long trips.

I got this one. I've been stunting my katana for 2 years. The balance point is so high that you will scrape the tail light just trying to balance a wheelie. Its way underpowered so if you want to do any combos, or move around the bike during a wheelie you have to be perfectly balanced ahead of time. Its ok for stoppies. A little tough to get the back up, but once its up it feels pretty stable. Katanas kick *** at burnouts tho

what mike said...but look at it this way, you have your f4 to destroy after you get done destroying your kat, so no worries!

yeah the katana isn't the greatest stunt bike in the world, i've seen people loop em trying the keep the balance point but its soo dam high. just practice on the F4i get a cage so u don't f*ck it up. the F4i should stand up and stay up w/ ease

im with mattc on this one....junk the katana for some cash and buy a cage or extended frame sliders with the money and stunt the f4. youll progress alot faster on that bike than you would on the katana. the katana is a heavy *** bike anyways....takes way too much effort to ride.

did i hear that right... u stunt your katana and use your f4 for long trips?? I think u got something twisted around there, the kat is a sport touring bike, so i think u should use that for the road trips and use the f4 for stuntin,,, My first bike was a katana, and my second was an f4, so trust me when i say, use the f4 for stunting... Learn stoppies, burnouts and christ stands on your katana, but not wheelies.. But the f4 is a lousy stoppie bike because once u learn to roll them far and high, the ***** floods on u bad...

I wheelies on a 1999 katana and it was crazy. sooo hard. f4i is pretty easy so why not keep our katana for crusin and cage out your f4i?
