-video f4i- need help troubleshooting inconsistent idle/engine vibrating

i am just doing quick revs on the throttle throughout the entire video.. when it jumps above 2.5k it is sticking by itself.. at the end i set the camera on the bike so you can get an idea of how much the engine is vibrating back and forth

video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1BcComMZ7k

this didnt happen immediately after i changed my tank out.. it happen the first day i took my bike out after changing the tank.. i was trying a lot of spreaders/jumping to the tank when it happen

things i changed before the idle was solid:
swapped my fuel pump/gas tank/cap out on to a new tank
my old tank was semi loose.. you could push it from side to side slightly.. i tightened the new one down pretty tight..
maybe it pinched my map sensor from my airbox? when i took it off i noticed creases in the two wires but they still looked good

problem:
bike runs perfectly under 2500rpm idle.. rev is smooth & no bogs.. engine shakes from side to side though.. very noticeable/abnormal

idle works properly until 2500rpms then when i turn it past 2500rpms it stays at 2500 until i rev the throttle then it sticks close to where the idle would be set if it was working properly

also.. the idle screw turn feels looser then it use to.. use to be fairly tight to turn and it feels pretty easy to turn now

things i checked:
fuses
looked over all the wires/hoses under the tank
took off airbox and checked the idle screw to make sure it wasnt getting held up on anything.. works good moves up/down when i turn the idle screw
2 spark plugs.. both have good spark.. didnt check the other 2 though.. theyre a pain in the *** to take out

huumm did you put the fuel pump in the right direction???
i was told once on a race forum that that can cause strange problems..(i m not sure why)
um,,
also yer fast idel wax unit could be going bad..(stock idle adjuster)

try this
turn yer bile on..
let it run for 5 min....dont touch the throttle!!!
does the bike idle up to 3rpm ish on the warm up then drop down once its warm..???

let me know what it does after that...

i took note of how i removed my fuel pump and i know i put it back in the right way.. i might just try swapping back to the other tank to see if anything changes.. lol no clue why this is happening.. and no one has seen anythign like this before??

Re: -video f4i- need help troubleshooting inconsistent idle/engine vibrating

Have you checked something simple like your throttle cable for the "hanging" problem the bike seems to have?

sounds like you have an injector cloged. Good luck with that.

i actually cut the zip ties that had my throttle cables held together.. to let them be a little looser.. once of the first things i thought of but i dont think they are stuck.. the bike works perfect when i let it sit idleing at 1k.. the revs are responsive.. they dont stick at all.. drop normal.. but the motor still vibrates

not sure what that is.. but i would imagine i would consistently have probs with the throttle.. the sticking only happens when i turn the idle up high

Re: -video f4i- need help troubleshooting inconsistent idle/engine vibrating

nope motor mounts are good.. it must be a mirefire then thats causing the engine vibrations right? what else could cause that

Re: -video f4i- need help troubleshooting inconsistent idle/engine vibrating

Is there anything stuck under where the second Idle cable screws in. the original idle screw or a pebble might be stuck under there
