and since i took my gages off the fan hasnt kicked in, could that be why it overheated?

 

if its hooked up anything like an F4i, Id just ground out the coolant temp sensor on the radiator so the fan runs all the time and forget about diagnosing some electrical madness. i got the service manual on PDF, hit me up on AIM - usedcarking5000 ill send it to you, im around after 11pm

 

+1. ground it out or run to a switch, no sense chasing ghosts....
