I went 1 down and 2 up and its just right to me, I still cant get the front wheel up in second unless I get my RPMs way up there. but as far as low speed stuff its no effort what so ever. Goodluck
very easy. You should be able to get it up rolling off and on the throttle with that gearing no problem. I ran that gearing for a while and could get it to bounce up in 4th with a little clutch mixed in.

right now i'm -1 +6 and Its wicked sick. I definately don't recommend any higher, if you still want a road bike. So you can at least go on the highway.
i have a 600 f4 if i go -1 , +2 will i still be able to keep the stock chain ? .. its brand new and i really wanna change the gearing ... and my other question is can i get the speedo recalabrated or i just gotta get used to it ?

If you dont want to recalibrate it its easy to judge how fast you are goin by the gear and rpms you are in. Just go out and tail a buddy in a car at various speed limits and remember gear and rpm position. Later

K.C. Tony's idea is the best.... Thats what I do. Since the speed always reads more then what I am actually doing..... It helps me to slow down cause cops are crazy around here. I got pulled over today (or should I say I just pulled over) because the cop was right on my @$$ and he said he was following so close to see if I was gonna try to run.....
When I told him I dont run from cops..... He said "You will eventually"....hehe
I just smiled and as he drove off I smiled and kindly gestured to him that he was number one....
....I dont think he saw me tho....hehe.

....I dont think he saw me tho....hehe. I can wheelie my roomates GSXR600 all stock in third gear... Just take your time and learn how to ride a wheelie first before you start learning other tricks... if u wanna do tank and over the bars your gonna have to clutch it so start practiceing...
I'm -1 +3 and I'm reading 120 when I'm doin 100 and it max out @ 155... just remember that if you do re-gear then your gonna lose top end..... So if you've got to do highway riding then watch what your doing otherwise you'll be in the red zone all day..

You can pull 2nd gear on stock gsxr600 with very littke effort. 40mph Just fan the clutch and give a lot of gas. I can usually get up to 90mph before I have to put it down
