Re: 636 radiator tabs help

Mine were broke when I bought the bike. I just used large zip ties around the frame and radiator.
I rigged my buddies with the zip ties around the cage and radiator and it worked pretty good, plus it was easier than goin around the frame.
I know this won't help with your reinforcement question but its somthing you can do in the mean time.

Re: 636 radiator tabs help

All my tabs were broken off my 636 radiator when I bought it and I took some 1" alum. stock and made new tabs and then ran a piece of the strap over the new tabs and down to the bottom of the radiator, then had everything welded. Kind of like Tony D's setups. It's been like that for a year in a half now and still rock solid.
