stock fi forks, raplace seals
stock fi forks, raplace seals
So i popped my fork seal and i wana make them stiffer till i get inverted forks. Waht do u guys recommend? How much fluid and what weight? R there stiffer springs available or revalve kits?
Re: stock fi forks, raplace seals
How much do you weigh, and why do you want to make it stiffer?
Stiffer isn't necessarily better..
Also just so you know, inverted forks, aren't really "NEEDED" for endo's untill your rolling 300 foot +
And from what I 'HEAR' inverted have a better chance at blowing seals, and when they do blow, they don't just spurt a little fluid out... they GUSH out

When mine blew, I said "**** it", and bought Racetech springs(1.0), compression gold valves, rebound gold valves, some 7 wieght fork oil, seals, and rebuilt them bitches. It's expensive, but my 235 pound *** doesn't feel ANY pogo effect at all any more. They feel SUPER solid, now. I had read about a few others on here doing these mods to their stock forks and loving it........I fully understand why......no need for inverted forks with these mods. If you have some extra dough.......I fully recomend it!
Re: stock fi forks, raplace seals
ya its the pogo effect thats ****** me. Im only 160 lbs but the forks do bottom out then bounce. pretty freaky even 50 mph. im thinkin bout doin the 1.00 springs and 10-15 weight oil.
Re: stock fi forks, raplace seals
just getting rid of the proggression springs i think would be perfect. I just dont like haven to preload the them before going up into the endo, i lose alot of momentem doing that
