So i can get a fairly cheap 1000rr front end from a buddy and wanted to throw it on my f4i. I heard stories that if i dont change the lower tripple to a 929/954 tripple that it might hit the radiator. is that true? Or has anyone just used the whole 1000rr front end?

 

no it will be fine,,but the 1000rr forks are shorter then stock by like 2 1/2 to 3 inches.,.. and yer clipons have to go under the triple..and remove the ram air and covers and grind down the stops on the lower triple and yer good to go...a buddy had them on his bike with the 1000rr triple and he loved it...i have the 1000rr forks on my bike but with the 929 lower and hohey top
