I have an 06 636 i need a front wheel for. I know there are other wheels that will fit i just dnt know exactly. I was told a zx9 front wheel will work just dnt kno what year or if it matters. Someone help me out i need to find one badly and dnt wanna spend 250+ just to bend it again in a few months.

 

03/04 636 wheels fit. i have one, completly straight.

i got the same problem, 06 636 rim on my new bike is fukced and need a new one, anyone know for sure if the 03-04 bolts right up

 

Thats a NEGATIVE my friend! I bought one only to find out the ZX10 uses a smaller diameter F/R axle, and I had to modify the bearing bores by boring them out for the larger 636 bearings to make it fit....The rim casting is the same, but the bearing bores are differnt...

Any 03-08 ZX6R front wheel will fit right on

 

good to know, hey johnny u know anything about the 07/08 rear rims fitting 05/06 i heard somewhere they might be diff.

 

Same rims, I just took a tire off a rear 07 wheel yesterday and besides it being gloss black its the exact same rim as the 05/06.....

 

so your saying also i cant take 636 wheel bearings out and put them in zx10 from rim either

 

also forgot to ask, if anyone know can i take an 03-04 wheel and bolt it right up to my 06

 

Will an 05-06 wheel fit 03-04 then too? I know the rotors are differnt sizes but are there any other things to look for? Johnny P where you at? Your the 636 GURU!!!

 

I had to modify the ZX10 rim for the 636 bearings to fit, you need to machine the bearing bores to a larger diamaeter...

Yes the front wheel will bolt right on if you change the rotors...
