hey guys. i have an 06 600rr and the last couple of weeks it randomly cuts out and wont start up straight away. eventually it does but the fi light comes on here and there. the wierd part is it will ALWAYS start when i lean it over on its side? lol. have done a test and it has given me some codes.
dont have a manual and not 100% on the codes. short flashes are 1 and long flashes are 10 yeah? also how many flashes am i looking for, coz this just keeps flashing but its not repeating if that makes sence. any help appreciated. .

 

hey man, it s repeating but you have to learn how to read the mil light, shrt is 1 and long is 10, there should be a pause between every code, breif but it s a pause, you r maybe thinking it s not repeating cause it s giving you more than one code, but eventually it s going to repeat. if u can count them post them and i ll tell you what s wrong, or you can even download the manual, i dont know iff u guys in the states can do it but i did. later

 

hey jus log onto 600rr.net and there is a write up on how to read the codes and what codes corrospond to what problem. I dont have the link off hand but will try n find it for you ok. also I beleive you can get this info from one of the downloadable .pdf file bike manuals as well.

i got the codes off one of the guys from my local bike shop. i think its giving me a few codes wich are leading to the same or similar things. so goin to have a look tomoro after work and see how i go. thanks for your help guys.
