05 636 exhaust valve....Need help!!

I got a stock exhaust on my 05 636 and the servo motor under the seat that activates the exhaust valve is garbage. Is there a way I can just take out the exhaust valve on the stock can or spot weld it so it is always open. Anybody done this with there 636, any suggestions are appreciated. snows meltin and I want to get my bike ready asap. Thanks.

the exhaust valve by defualt is open. therfor if u just unhook the cables/take out the motor, it will stay open. however your FI light will be on if u dont have a servo eliminator which costs like 100 dollars from ivans. or u can keep the motor in and make a bracket to trick the motor into thinking the cables are there when it does its check. all in all the bike runs alot better with the valve working. i had to replace my servo motor on my 06 cuz i didnt brace the wheel when i tightend the nut and i stripped the motor. you lose the low end grunt that the bike has without the valve working right.
