just to let every body know running with out an air filter will cause more damage than just having debris entering your engine. it can cause higher temp in the cylinder head, scauld the pistons and can cause the motor to seize. there is a remedy for this how ever marvel oil at any parts store like 4 bucks remove the air box,spark plugs and add a little to each cylinder. aftterwards remove the stator cover and rotote the crank with a ratchet 17mm on the 01 -03 models rocking it back and forth then breaking free. reasemble and fireitll smoke but should clear and run fine.

 

Why would you run with no filter?

 

haha cus its more fun to dump mystery oil in your engine..

 

the pistons will expand and the rings will gouge the cyclinder walls and cause lower compression after a motor siezes. from over heating by such ways.
