im picking up this f3 cheap from a kid who crashed it into a parked car, but anyways the front end is shot and I have a complete f4i front end will that fit on? also being cheap i have a f4i rear wheel w/a 60tooth sprocket will that fit on the f3 swingarm?

oh sorry... chances are, the rear wheel will not work... the F4i, i believe, had a wider rim to accommodate the 180 rear tire... we checked when I had my F3 and we came up short on clearance for a 180 tire... you can check, but I'm pretty sure you'll be wasting your time...

as for the front end, the fork diameters are different, but, if you can bolt the F4i triple up then it will work... honda seemed to use the same neck dimensions on alot of bikes (F4i, VTR1000, 954, 929, etc...) so you may just bolt right up... it's easy enough to check it out... let me know what you find out with that front... you have me curious since I have a friend with an F2 who has been wondering about possible swaps...

I would think the front-end would bolt up, here is my reasoning, it may be flawed. I can't remember his exact name (I'm a dumbass), but one of the members of outermost rocked out with an f2 or f3 for a very long time. I can distinctly remember him saying he had a 1000rr front-end on it for a short-time because he said it was "too new" for the bike... if the 1krr front-end goes on an f4i and on an f2 then I would assume the f4i front-end goes on the f2 or f3.

Anybody see any flaws in this logic?

no... no flaws in logic... unless they were custom triples... (I almost did that on my F3 bc I was tired of blowing fork seals...)
