I've read most all posts here dealing with the 636s, feeling confident that I understand the goal I'm doing the job but have encountered something different. The exhaust air switching valve isn't triggered by vacum, it is electric(2 wires), It is the T, a.do I leave it alone, b.unplug it and use that T, c.leave it plugged in and put in a new T or d.unplug it remove it and put in a new T? I'll start with a, otherwise there is no capping vacum ports on throttle bodies, just 2 on air filter box and connecting the hoses. Off to Ace, we'll see how it works out.

 

Well I capped the air cleaner box, joined the crank case hose with the exhaust hose and left the valve as it is and it all seems good, pinned it and clutched a few. The way a slow wheelies feel on minty full fairing FI bike is pretty awesome, it's so smooth and buttery. Once my SI cage and bar arrive think I'll street fighter it to preserve the fairings.
