Dead cluster? 02 F4i

ok so went i put my bike down in the fall i think i may have busted the gauge cluster. it still keeps time just fine, however i can not get the millage to show up, no speed is shown, and when i turn the ignition on the tach used to max out and then settle and no longer does. and ideas before i spend money on a new one.

check the connections to the wiring harness, and the connections on the back of the gauges. I dropped my f4i pretty hard a while back, and the gauge cluster quit working, only thing that would show is the clock and the fi light, I had to take off the back cover of the gauges to reconnect one of the connections.
