GSXR radial master lever change Pics please!!

Ok, I know this sounds easy and I thought the same, however I am struggling and clueless as to what to do.

I took the lever off of my GSXR radial master to cut a piece off and now I cant get the damm thing back on. Can someone tell if the plunger piece from the master goes into the oblonged hole on the lever or??

I released the pressure and compressed the master cylinder, but now it bottoms out too quickly. I cant believe I am having trouble with a stupid lever.

Re: GSXR radial master lever change Pics please!!

No, I had my handbrake set up perfect, bled right and everything, so I decided to go **** it up.

I had to cut the part off where the brake switch would attach bc I finally put on an easy pull and it wouldnt fit.

Now, when I put it back together, the amount of travel the lever has before bottoming out is very short. I couldnt get it to touch the handlebars if I tried. The pull is only a half inch, like the piston is in too far. Thats why Im thinking I have the part that goes into the lever in the wrong place and was looking to see if someone could tell me where it fits into the lever at.

Its that simple and just pissing me off like you wouldnt believe. I fix one thing only to brake (haha) another.

did you lose any pieces.....i have a gsxr radial on mine but cant quite remember how it goes...it may have something to do with that little round piece with the hole in it, part of the linkage that connects the lever to the piston

yeah, thats in there, but it just has a groove in it, small one at that. Is there a hole in it? Maybe it got spun around, that would explain things if so.

Re: GSXR radial master lever change Pics please!!

I figured it out!!!

The piece inside of the lever spins, but not easily. It must of vibrated around when I used the cut off wheel on it.

So, if you do the same thing, just take a screw driver (it takes a little time) and maneuver the piece back, there is a hole in it for the plunger to sit in.

Good as new!!!

This is why I ride a Honda, ****** gsxr's
