05 gsxr 600 help

i bought a wrecked 05 600 and i pieced it back together. the bike has no fuel injector pulse width. it has spark and when i spray fuel down the cylinders it will run. my question is in front of the battery there is 2 tabs on the battery tray and it appears that something goes there that plugs into a 6 pin connector. that component is missing on my bike. i think the tip over sensor goes there but i am not positive. if someone can check there bike and let me know i would appreciate it. also if it is the tip over sensor i need you to perform an experiment. unplug that sensor and try and start your bike. if it runs then i know i have another problem. if it doesnt run then i know i need that sensor connected in order for the bike to run. thanks all who can help. i think all 04/05 gsxr 600/750's will be the same setup.

i had same problem with my 1000. and thats where the to sensor is. i belive it wont start with it missing. I just wrapped the inside of it in duct tape so it wont kill the bike when it goes down. kinda dangerous but it works. if its not getting any fuel. pry fuel pump which i had to replace and if not that check your cdi.. i had to replace all that on mine just to get it to start

Re: 05 gsxr 600 help

thens thats my problem. fuel pump and ignition system work. i checked the injector connectors and there is no 12 volt reference voltage to the injectors. i am guessing that tip over sensor shuts off the 12 volt power supply to the injectors. i guess i have to find a sensor or find a wire diagram.
does anyone have a wiring diagram for this bike they can email me?
thanks all.

Re: 05 gsxr 600 help

easy way to check if your pump is bad or not to save some money. unscrew the tank by the bars prop it up. there should be a black hose going from the pump to the injectors. disconnect it from the pump nipple turn the bike on with the ignition switch on. if it just squirts fuel like crazy its good. if not could be clogged but your pry lookin at buyin a new one.

Re: 05 gsxr 600 help

pump is good. plenty of fuel pressure. my problem is my injectors are not firing. there is no 12 volt power supply to the injectors. without a wiring diagram i am guessing. i just bought a repair manual on cd so ill have to wait and see. if the ecm supplies the 12 volt power supply to the injectors then i believe my ecm is the problem.

Re: 05 gsxr 600 help

it's the tip over sensor.

There is a mod that you can do so that the tip over sensor can't shut off the bike but it still needs to be pluged into the harness

find a tip over sensor off a used bike and you should be good to go.

You're an idiot cause you keep talking about a god damn fuel pump, if there is not tip over switch the bike will not ******* run.. the tip switch needs to be installed... And yes u can open it up and clog it up with **** so it never works.. but the **** needs to be plugged in.

Re: 05 gsxr 600 help

yup, it wont run without the TO sensor, replace it and it will fire up fine, and if you want to bypass it, just take the switch apart and fill it with silicone. but it has to be plugged in or the pump wont even prime.
