ok so yeah i know 929,954, 1000rr, 600rr, all fit but what about some of the gixxers., like i love the gold forks with the black tubes look pimp but will the fit

 

i have a gsxr 1000 front end on my f4i, it will fit but you need to use 929/954 triples and the gsxr wheel.

 

i also run gsxr front end on my f4i.

 

I ran a 2002 gix 750 front end on my old f3, i got the bearings through allballs.com! :YEAH

 

do you guys like the gixxer front end? how does it feel for stoppies?

 

i only used the gix front end because it was available really cheap! I am not sure about stoppies I sucked at them when I was riding the f3, in fact I still kinda sux at them now! peace

don't mind the db bars...i have 636 clip ons but am waiting on a stock 929 tripple....

yeah although it's a busa wheel...i guess the spacing is different and it fits better.

 

i've always loved the way gixxer front ends felt for stoppies. the only thing i am imagining about comfortwise on an f4i is that a gixxer front end is intended to sit flush with the triple and run the clipons underneath while an f4i is designed the other way around. sure you can run it however you want but i am thinking an inch or two would make the world of a difference with ride height.

 

yeah i measured the stock front end and a 929 front end on a f4i....with the gsxr 1000 and 636 clip ons it's exactly stock f4i height.....it is a little taller with the db bars though.

i still haven't gotten to ride it but i used to have a 03 gsxr 1000 and it was nice when it had oil in it.
